An ESSEC business school graduate, Alban began his career with BNP Paribas in 1993. He left the bank in 2000 to join AXA, where he headed mergers and acquisitions for Asia and the United States. In 2007, he took over as the head of Group Corporate Finance and Treasury (DCFG), moving on to become Chief Financial Officer of the Mediterranean and Latin America Region in 2010.
Since 2013, Alban has served as the AXA Group’s Chief Risk and Control Officer. Risk analysis and management are at the heart of the insurance business: with the support of more than 700 risks managers working at AXA, we operate every day with a purpose: to build a stronger, more resilient Group, regardless of the major events our policyholders are facing or will potentially face. Our objective: to guarantee our 103 million customers that we will be able to fulfill our promise, under all circumstances.
