1. Production of performance and sales reports on the Life business :

  • Extract and format data from multiple sources and stakeholders
  • Ensure relevant, accurate and timely reporting in accordance with agreed formats to all stakeholders
  • Provide quality analysis on the figures
  • Review existing processes and reports to improve efficiency, and proactively propose amendments to existing formats to meet with evolving business needs
  • Automate less value-added tasks

2. Support the different business functions

  • Provide value-added, drill-down analysis, investigations, interpretations and explanations to enable business leaders to understand causes and solutions to business challenges.
  • Notably support the agency management team for analysis the performance of individual agents

3. Support the rest of the Life business Finance team

  • Share technical knowledge and help up skilling the rest of the team and automating manual tasks to maximise time spent on analysis
  • Manage two financial data analysts

  • Degree in IT, data science or finance
  • Technical IT skills required:
    • Experience with AS400
    • Database management skills
    • Good programming skills
  • Strong analytical skills, results oriented and willingness to challenge established processes
  • Management experience is preferred
  • Previous working experience in financial institution or financial services industry is preferred
  • Fluent in English - Cantonese is a plus
