I would like to take this opportunity to thank Godefroy Beauvallet for his very valuable contributions to the AXA Research Fund. His innovative and pragmatic mindset together with his deep knowledge of the academic world, helped increase the AXA Research Fund's ability to attract and select top-rate researchers from all around the world and helped position the AXA Research Fund as a credible voice in the public policy debates on a wide spectrum of issues faced by our societies. Ulrike Decoene's background in academic and institutional relations, as well as her experience of the insurance business in a large variety of markets, will be of great value to strategically steer the AXA Research Fund in the next phases of its development

She entered AXA Investment Managers in 2007, where she led Global Media Relations and Internal Communications until 2010. She then moved to AXA's Mediterranean, Latin America & Africa Region as Head of Communications, Corporate Responsibility and Public Affairs, where she notably contributed to the on-boarding of new entities in emerging countries in Africa and Latin-America.
